 Kismet Liquid Lipsticks

Press Sample

If you’ve read any of my previous posts, then you know I have a slight lipstick, lip gloss, well really, lip product problem. I’m a tad obsessed, and not afraid to admit it. In fact, if I could only use one makeup item the rest of my life, it would probably be lip products, followed closely by mascara, and tinted moisturizer.

Of course you can probably guess what I said when Cindy asked me if I wanted to review Kismet Succulent Liquid Lipsticks, $22…absolutely, yes, yes, and absolutely. Not only did I want to try some new liquid lipsticks, but I also wanted to try a brand that was new to me.

If you’re not familiar with Kismet, they are a Louisiana based company that is more than just a beauty company, they are a fashion beauty brand. The idea behind this thinking is because makeup has become an extension of our clothes, shoes, etc.. It’s an accessory that helps complete our look, and sometimes, even makes our look. Currently, Kismet has a small collection of lipsticks, nail polishes, bronzing lotions, temporary metallic tattoos, and customizable makeup bags.

Kismet Succulent Liquid Lipsticks, $22 (On Point & Elope)

Kismet Liquid Lipsticks Elope and On Point

There are four lipsticks in the Succulent Collection, including On Point, Elope, Flamingo, and Speakeasy. Kismet was kind enough to send me Elope, a nude with hints of pink, and On Point, a classic pink with orchid and nude undertones.

 Kismet Liquid Lipstick Swatches

Not only are these liquid lipsticks gorgeous, but they are also Gluten-Free, Paraben-Free, 100% Vegan and USA Made. This makes me love them even more. The Succulent Liquid Lipsticks are designed to provide full coverage, while being creamy and luxurious. I can safely say that this claim is absolutely true. Whenever I wore the lipsticks, my lips felt like they had been slathered in cashmere, which is probably due to the infusion of essential extracts and resin, as well as Vitamins C & E.

Kismet Succulent Liquid Lipstick Wand

The long, slightly indented (on one side) doe foot wand makes application quick and easy, and also helps to deliver the perfect amount of product to my lips.  The color payoff is definitely on point, thanks to the advanced polymers and intense pigments in the formulation. Though the lipsticks are long lasting, the initial shine does fade a bit over time, which I am fine with. I would rather have the color stay put, than fade away when the shine does.

Bottom line: At $22, the Kismet Succulent Liquid Lipsticks might be on the pricey side, but they are well worth the investment. Not only is the formulation perfection, and the color payoff amazing, but with each purchase you’re also supporting a USA based company who cares about what goes into their products. I can’t wait to try out more from Kismet Cosmetics, and if you want to try the Succulent Liquid Lipsticks, Kismet is offering free 1st class shipping throughout the month of October.

Have you ever used Kismet Cosmetics? Which lipstick in the collection would you like to try?
